For several months evidence has suggested the US stock market could be approaching the end of the bull run since at least March 2020. A long-term comparison of the S&P 500 (SPX) with Crude Oil – WTI (CL2!) may give us a preview of what could happen in the next few months. The monthly CL2! […]

North Sea oil platform [image credit: matchtech.com]Politics versus climate dogma. Oil products are still in high demand, so blocking one project to make some sort of point wouldn’t make any difference to UK consumption levels. Recent events showed the chaos that can easily happen when fuel isn’t readily available at filling stations. But climate obsessives […]
I had a great dinner with my fiancee Theresa Marie Rogers at the 11 O’clock lounge and Grill or the Eleven Restaurant and lounge located at TheWilliston.com we made a video of our experience and did a food review for OilfieldBusinessNetwork.com we were looking forward to talking about this one because it was a little bit of a shocker for sure. Watch the video for more of the fireworks and our surprise review of this upscale restaurant in the heart of the Oilfield Boomtown, Williston North Dakota.
Williston is a city in and the county seat of Williams County, North Dakota, United States. The 2010 census gave its population as 14,716, and the Census Bureau gave the 2015 estimated population as 26,977, making Williston the sixth-largest city in North Dakota. The city most commonly associated with the Bakken oil boom is also bustling with things to see and do in the city and the nearby area. Most notably is the ARC, a recreational mecca for recreation enthusiasts, including surfers. Flow Rider is an indoor wave machine that allows users to simulate surfing or wakeboarding. It’s just one of the many options at the ARC. There’s also an indoor waterpark, golf simulator and batting cages.
Just outside of Williston you’ll find more history, outdoor recreation and entertainment. Enjoy boating and fishing on Lake Sakakawea or step back in history with a visit to nearby Fort Buford State Historic Site or Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site. The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is adjacent to Fort Buford, site of the surrender of Sitting Bull. The center tells about the history of the area where the two great rivers merge into one.
